I decided to give float plane a shot since I have been a huge LTT fan since the Langley house. I have to say I was a bit disappointed in the feature set. The app does not seem to resume a video where I left off if I have to close it and come back. Also, there is no way to filter by unwatched videos like YouTube. Come on guys, not everyone has time to watch videos on release day. I will be doing the walk of shame back to YouTube since they have the features I need.2024-05-17 10:06:59

Needs better background playback in order to warrant using instead of YouTube. Has a picture in picture button but it's finicky and doesnt always work. Needs to automatically switch to picture in picture when you go to the home screen during playback. Playback should also have the option keep going when the device is locked.2024-05-17 01:57:46

It forces portrait mode for no reason. Text too small on all devices I have tried it on. Video controls are too small. Video playback does not work on older Huawei tablet, on some devices some resolutions can not play (blank screen), no option for Subscription cancellation, player control really bad. Some text (eg in settings) appear distorted. In general UX is very bad, content is ok.2024-05-16 14:59:26

Seeing as this app is still very much in the testing phase, and with Luke and team over at Floatplane being so damn nice and allowing us to use this app, instead of a crappy mobile browser is pretty damn awesome! the app is great, it works as it should st the moment. is it perfect? how do you measure perfection? is perfection Luke's hair? then no, but its close! this app is free, if you are subbed to anhone on Floatplane, then this app is a must have.2024-05-15 18:43:07

Main reason I am subscribed on floatplane is for wan show preview and fp exclusives. Wan show doesn't start automatically for me, even if I'm on the waiting screen and then most of the time it has trouble loading for 5-10minutes during pre show. I'm on full gigabit fiber so I know it's not that. When will yall actually fix your app so it's not so dang awful. Really want to continue supporting you but unsure if its worth it at this point.2024-05-15 09:25:25

Have to login every time I open the app, this is incredibly frustrating. Also having the ability to keep playing the videos when the app is in the background as well as, as a small video window over other apps would be fantastic, essentially for watching WAN show, etc!2024-05-15 01:27:45
