Unreliable so far. Right now it keeps popping up "You need to enable Location Access for scanning to work." but I have location access enabled. I have updated to the latest software and have this problem with every version thus far. Works as advertised, although some devices may turn on the screen because it physically plugs and unplugs the charger, but it's not this app's fault. App developer very responsive, making the only device of Its kind that I Know of. I don't think I've ever seen an app where the developer has been as responsive as this one. Working through some issues with a Pixel 3 XL and integration of the app and chargie device. It seems the app is quite close and rest of my Android devices function ok. Just changed my review completely. The developer has responded very quickly and with the instructions. I wanted to use the Chargie device on its own with my smartwatch and didn't know how to set it up. So after some trial and errors along with the instructions given, it finally worked. Using the Chargie device with the app to charge your smartphone is the easiest way to do it. I wanted to like it, I really did but a number of features didn't work, it put a significant drain on the battery and the lack of reply to an email sent led to the 1 star review. Specific issues were the auto disconnect not working although the auto connect worked fine, I couldn't get the top up function to work at all and the back up charge limiter was unreliable and needs an adjustment beyond the 6 hours allowed if to be of use when asleep. Constantly pauses and unpauses charging every 5 seconds. Issue persists with both of my chargies. No amount of playing with the settings helped. This is on a galaxy s8. Update: The Feb 5 update appears to have fixed that issue. However, there's now a new issue where if I leave the house ( out of range of the Chargies), it will try to continuously try to connect to the Chargies indefinitely completely ignoring the settings of number of retries.2024-05-28 12:14:05
