Got set up in under a minute. Every feature works properly and controlling it with my phone is amazing. If I'm out working on my car, I can set it to cool the room down before I get back inside and also setting sleep mode curve and schedules is super easy. There is a little delay for the Window AC unit to respond to a command sent via your phone, but that's to be expected. Takes about a second or less for the command to register by the product you have synced. I have yet to test Alexa (Personally I don't like Smart homes, but the home I'm in has it set up) so I will update whenever I do set that up and test it.2024-06-05 08:09:52

I have the 8000BTU U A/C. I'm currently on a Galaxy S20 FE. I had no issues setting it up to sync to my device. The instructions are pretty clear. I do get the occasional sign out, where I have to log back in, but it's not a big deal. It can take a few seconds to sync up the last known settings. App has all the basic functions you need to operate your AC remotely. If it wasn't for the little things I mention I'd give the app 5 stars.2024-06-02 22:51:53

Updated to 5 stars. They removed the request to access your storage for a profile picture. Everything works great for me. It was easy to install and connect to my Wi-Fi and works seamlessly with Amazon Alexa. It has every thing I could ever want to do with an AC in an app. I love the Midea u-shaped air conditioner that it's used with also. It's the best window air conditioner I have seen. It allows me to turn on and off my device... Yup. It allows me to set humidity levels and what the fill level of my tank is....but it is inconsistent and doesn't always work. I use my cube on "Set" mode and turn off and on the dehumidifier to get the water level to refresh which is annoying. I use Google home routines as schedules DOESNT WORK at all. Schedules won't register or save and so many different options not suitable for every product makes it very confusing.2024-06-01 22:10:06

Recent update has greatly improved app experience. After reconnecting to Google assistant I'm able to use voice commands to control the window air conditioner again. The cube dehumidifier notification to clean the filter still pops up in Chinese and doesn't show up on the notification shade. Instead it appears at the bottom of my screen and doesn't go away until you go into the app and mark that the filter has been cleaned.2024-06-01 21:10:21

Easy to use and reliable (unlike MsSmartHome). My only complaint is that the the thermostat of my Midea Duo is wildly inaccurate, but that seems to be a hardware problem. For example, setting to 66°F results in a room heated to 74°, 60° = 65°. But the app itself works well, and it is possible to program very detailed schedules. Meanwhile, Midea is pushing everyone to use its MsSmartHome app, which gets horrible reviews and seems to be failing more than working. No thank you!2024-06-01 08:36:53
