Out of all the apps that are installed on my phone, this is the ONLY one that consistently gives me problems. Whether it's the audio not working or no playback, every time I want to watch a show, I can guarantee that my attempt will be futile. I'm happy to be able to watch NBC shows from my phone, especially given the clear and smooth video. The ads don't play smoothly, though, and require constant screen touches every time a new one loads. This makes them much more distracting than the equivalent ads on TV, without foregrounding their message. If not for that, I'd give this app 5 stars.2024-06-21 03:51:44

App needs work. I watch on my TV through my chromecast. I can start an episode but after it connects and starts to play the app becomes nonfunctioning. I can't pause or rewind, and once the episode is over I can not start the next episode. I have to disconnect from the chromecast, close the app, and then reopen and it sometimes works. The NBC app is one of the worse apps I have ever used. Most days the streaming of shows is not usable. Every few seconds it buffers for several minutes. Often the sound is off, its like watching a very poor voice over. The person speaking voice does not match the persons lip and mouth movement. I use many apps for streaming shows and movies that never buffer or have any other issues. To date Netflix is still the best streaming app that I use.2024-06-20 07:21:28

Freezes up all the time when using with a Chromecast. Starts over so you have to re-watch theany many commercials. If you pause the show and lock your phone, when you try to resume the show it goes back to the beginning. All sorts of problems. Again, this is all when using Chromecast, so maybe it is fine on it's own. But it definitely seems like it's designed to make you watch dozens of commercials over and over.2024-06-20 06:22:26

Downloaded this so I could continue The Good Place, season 3 & it works great for that! I don't mind the ads, since it's just like commercials on regular NBC TV. The only thing that's annoying is that when I click the back 10 seconds button, it sometimes makes me re-watch all the commercials, which is frustrating. Otherwise, I have no issues with lagging etc, and I can watch some of my favs!2024-06-18 07:03:52
