This app goes the most egregious route by forcing you to watch a video to load a saved game. Its a pretty low thing to do for a feature that has to be built in to a game like this. I encountered this on the first game and I decided to uninstall it afterwards. I do not like having rpg game progress locked behind a monetization scheme. Shame. Shame. Shining Force II is one of my favorite all time games so I was very excited to see it officially come to Android. However, it's completely broken: Commercials don't stop even after paying. Games run perfect, thus 4 stars. Just as great as original. Touch screen controls are good, but for controller support... unfortunately the directional doesn't work with my razer kishi. I wish they had a way to configure the dpad. I have the paid version. The ad version was way too many ads. I have to login to Google play every single time I load the app to verify its the paid version in order to disable ads...that should only be a one time verification. Going to give this game 1 star at this point. The game itself is great. The problem is that when I tried to save before quitting the game glitched and rebooted, erasing hours of gameplay. This ap contains three classic SEGA RPGs in one bundle. While I haven't played far into any of the three games in this incarnation yet, I love how True to the original games it seems. The "save anywhere" feature is a much-needed modern improvement. No more being caught in the middle of a protracted battle, only to have to quit for other reasons. About the only improvement that could have been made is a more mobile-friendly interface. Even using D-Pad and buttons, this is a great nostalgia trip.2024-06-02 04:33:25

I just started my game yesterday and have only come across the issue with the constantly spinning wheel for a save once. It did save it, though. I am consistently using both save options just in case, but finding no issues with either save. Maybe they've fixed the issue at this point, or maybe my S23 Ultra is what this is made for, but it's working optimally for me!!2024-06-01 05:32:51
