EA Sports College Football 25 Addressing Stanford Issue
EA Sports College Football 25 will receive a patch in about two weeks to update Stanford University's outdated logo, though some players have experienced stability issues with the game's servers during early access, yet despite these initial challenges, the title has still been a massive success with over 700,000 players online already.
EA Sports College Football 25 to Fix Outdated Logos in Upcoming Patch
Electronic Arts has promised to fix Stanford University's outdated logo in EA Sports College Football 25 soon. The game, which marks the first release in the NCAA Football franchise in 11 years, was launched in early access for gamers who purchased the Deluxe Edition or the MVP Bundle, and has seen a pretty popular launch despite several flaws.
One of the issues discovered by gamers during the early access period was that the game was using an outdated logo for Stanford University. Instead of the current logo, which has been in use since 2015 and features a white tree behind a red capital S, College Football 25 uses a logo with a red tree behind a white capital S. EA has officially acknowledged that "certain schools" such as Stanford, Western Michigan, and Jacksonville State have "outdated logos" and will be fixing the problem with the first round of patches in around two weeks.
Interestingly, the correct Stanford logo does appear in the game, being currently used on helmets and at the center of the field, but it's still wrong on the scoreboard of the Stanford University stadium. Despite these initial challenges, the title has still been a massive success, with over 700,000 players online already.
This is not the only issue that College Football 25 players have faced since the game's early access started. Soon after gamers started to play, EA Sports College Football 25's servers experienced stability issues, leading to problems for some players. Additionally, several gamers were unable to access Dynasty Mode in College Football 25 due to a problem in which the game would display "Lorem Ipsum" placeholders instead of allowing people to join the mode. While some gamers found a workaround by playing offline, others could not fix the problem.
Despite these early access challenges, the title has still been a massive success, with over 700,000 players online already. EA has acknowledged the issues and has promised to address the outdated logos, including Stanford University's, with the first round of patches in around two weeks, indicating their commitment to improving the game experience for players.
EA Sports College Football 25 Faces Early Access Issues, Yet Remains a Major Success
In spite of the early access challenges faced by EA Sports College Football 25, including server stability issues and problems with accessing Dynasty Mode, the game has already achieved massive success, with over 700,000 players online shortly after the early access release, a surprisingly high number considering the title's full launch is not until July 19, and EA has acknowledged the issues such as outdated logos, including Stanford University's, and promised to address them with the first round of patches in around two weeks, indicating their commitment to improving the game experience for players and ensuring they have a better experience with one of the best sports games to come out recently.
