Tesla Cybertruck Coming to Rocket League and Fortnite
Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla, is not a declared player of Fortnite or Rocket League, but his company will launch a virtual version of the Cybertruck in those games as a paid add-on. The addition of the Cybertruck in Fortnite comes at a time when car combat has been a divisive move in the battle royale shooter.
Tesla's Cybertruck Comes to Fortnite and Rocket League
Epic Games and Tesla have agreed to a collaboration that will bring the disputed Cybertruck vehicle to the popular games Fortnite and Rocket League.
Even though Elon Musk is not a declared player of Fortnite and Rocket League, his company Tesla will launch a virtual version of Cybertruck in those games.
The Cybertruck in all its self-destructive glory is coming to Rocket League and Fortnite tomorrow, July 23, 2024. This will be a paid add-on, so players will literally be paying to have a vehicle that looks like a metal rock.
Both Fortnite and Rocket League are teaming up to introduce the Cybertruck, which has been making headlines recently, into their games. The Cybertruck, now a cultural icon in both memes and automotive discussions, has received mixed reviews.
However, Fortnite is known for its creative and engaging collaborations. In Rocket League, players can use the Cybertruck as their vehicle skin, while in Fortnite, gamers will have the chance to drive the Cybertruck around the map whenever they find one.
The addition of the Tesla Cybertruck in Fortnite couldn't come at a better time. Fortnite's Chapter 5 Season 3 has notably centered around car combat, which has proven to be a divisive move for the battle royale shooter. The Cybertruck will be usable in the Battle Royale, Zero Build, and Rocket Racing game types.
